Quality Process

“Quality process”

The quality process of milk procurement in our Organization involves several critical steps to ensure that the milk collected is safe, nutritious, and of high quality.

1. Milk Collection

  • Farmer Level Collection: Milk is collected directly from milk producers at village Level (MPP) using sanitized containers. The collection is done at regular intervals to ensure freshness.
  • Transportation: Milk is transported  through vehicles from villages to BMC’s or MCC’s to maintain its temperature and prevent spoilage.

2. Testing and Quality Control

  • Initial Testing: At the collection point, milk is tested for basic quality parameters such as fat content,Total Solids, and presence of any adulterants.
  • Advanced Testing: Further tests are conducted at the Milk Chilling Centers to check for organoleptic, adulteration and other quality indicators.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Fair Pricing: Milk is priced based on quality parameters and market conditions. Producers are paid promptly to ensure a steady supply after every days .

4. Storage and Handling

  • Refrigeration: Milk is stored in chilled conditions to maintain its freshness and its quality
  • Hygienic Handling: All equipment and containers used in milk handling are cleaned and sanitized to prevent contamination.

5. Record Keeping and Monitoring

  • Documentation: Detailed records of milk collection, testing results, and payments are maintained for transparency and traceability.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Regular monitoring and audits are conducted to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
